Date: Tuesday, July 4th (duh!)
Time: 10:00 AM
The parade forms up at the intersection of Cherry Valley Drive and Old Colony Way. The parade route goes down Old Colony Way from Cherry Valley Drive to Continental Drive, and then turns right on Continental Drive across George Washington Drive to its termination point at the Ron Berger Memorial Playground in our Norbeck Meadows Community Park. The entire event should take about an hour.
We have only one simple “ground rule”: If you bring a pet to the parade, please also bring a “pooper scooper” and a refuse bag in the event “man’s best friend” experiences a call of nature.
Please be extra safe and careful. If you are driving in the Community on the morning of July Fourth, please observe a voluntary 25 MPH speed limit on all streets in the vicinity of the parade.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the event of bad weather, please check your email after 8:30 AM on Tuesday morning. I shall notify the Community of a decision to cancel. A notice will also be posted at the parade’s starting point: the intersection of Cherry Valley Drive and Freedom Way
